From what I played briefly yes, it seems very similar to the Prince of Persia games.
Might even be using the same engine.

that's exactly what I thought when I saw that screenshot...
it looks Sofa King much like the very first swordfight in the original Prince of Persia
I was going to post about the similarities, I didn't know everyone else was thinking the same thing!

The trick for me was to go into the settings and crank up the Wiimote sensitivity to the max and it gets twitchy but you can win that way lol
