Screenshot reminds me of maniac mansion or something, but I doubt the actual game will compare.

yeah, it does remind me of the old lucasarts adventures.

Yup, it is a kids or maybe even teen type sitcom. It is not as unbearable to have to sit through as some others (I am looking at you Raven.....wait....actually it is kinda hard looking at you so I will just point in your general direction because that is "so you") as they are a family from the future that vacations in their past. Situations arise and hilarity ensues. Sometimes.

I thought the exact same thing. The character design looks very day of the tentacle-ish. Anyone actually play this?

It did remind me a little of those old LucasArts games in a way, but it's different in some ways too. It felt fun from first impressions though.
