I kind of like Vampire's Kiss, but only recently discovered it's somewhat of a ripoff of a George A Romero film called Martin. Still, Nic Cage is hilarious in Vampire's Kiss.

Nic *No, not the bees* Cage when he's not method acting, he can be pretty decent though some roles fit him better than others.. And definitely when he gets in full Nic Cage mode, though understandable if you find him sub-par or flat out revolting..
Though i would still recommend the Matchstick Men (if you haven't seen it already), i think it's one his best roles imo, and the twist at the end was quite good! Give it a try you might be surprised.
