Hardware transfer a game save from vba to a retail game cartridge?

Is there any way to do this as I have bought a copy of golden sun and want to transfer my save from vba to it? thanks in advance

If you have a gameshark (the interact version and not the madcat version), you can use:

Flie->Export->gameshark snapshot

Then you can use the gameshark and transfer the save to the retail copy.


If not use the battery file option under export and you will need a cable something like this:

and the software from thier website to transfer the save back.

You will need a gameboy advance or gba SP for either method.

is there any ds homebrew that could do this? i mean that if i put the savefile onto my microsd i could transfer it into the gba cartridge

If your game uses EEPROM type saves or certain Flash save types, you wouldn't be able to use any DS homebrew dumper. That means if you had a game where you had to SRAM patch it to play on a 3in1 or similar flashcart, it's save file wouldn't work on a retail game.

If it uses EEPROM save types your stuck with the previous method I told you because the homebrew program can't handle that save type correctly.
