The project is still going. I can only speak for a handful of more active members, that we're all healthy. There are other reasons unrelated to the project and covid directly, that less progress was made.

Thank you for not giving up and still working on this titel.
"Wir schaffen das! und bleib gesund" Sorry, banzai, kleiner Spaß :)

Here's hoping this project is still alive because 428 -Shibuya Scramble- (or 428 -Fuusa-sareta Shibuya de-) is one of the best games ever made and this is more of same greatness. If only someone would translate Sound Novel Portable Machi -Unmei no Kousaten Tokubetsu Hen- for PSP as well. My dream is to see that SN in English someday...

So, is this project still alive? It has a full story translation, but seems like nobody interesting in this project. I mean, such a hidden gem is still in Japanese only.

We know of the "full" story translation, but very early on decided not to use it, since it didn't contain all of the story, not even scratching the menu stuff like tips.
We would also have to match the style of writing and translation for consistency with what was left to be translated.

As pointed out, I very recently stated that the project is more or less frozen, since I'm currently occupied otherwise.

I wouldn't say active, but still not forgotten. I'm unsure when I'm able to get back to working on it.
So it's currently frozen.
Were you aware that there is a 100% fully complete translation here?

I know this is for the Vita version, but would it be possible to collaborate with this person or potentially use their translation (with permission)???

We knew this translation for a long time. It's not a 100% translation, as they only play through the story and don't show all the text and routes. They also aren't as accurate as we like them to be. So we decided not to use it.

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
