Ay, why don't you guys state that you know how to make a Baghdad battery? Maybe, can we all agree that we all have solar charging cases on our phones before going back in time? As well as the ability to "communicate our ideas effectively without being tried for: heresy, witchcraft, seditious acts, etc,?

Ay, all you guys trying to make money, Murrica will jizz in your butt:

Andy Carlssin took $800.00 to $350,000,00.00 in two weeks.
Even if you're good, great, amazing, godly, they gonna hate.
Welcome to Earth.

idk does bringing a device back with you really not involve its charger?
I would count the device and its connectors as separate items.

i might be out of the loop,i use android not iphone , but can't you just plug it into the wall or use an induction coil?
Not if you don't have the cables

I think you should be able to take the whole sealed box back with you - which for most phones involves a charger

It's kind of pointless having a charger without electricity and an AC outlet to plug it into though. You'd also need to be able to generate elecricity - and you'd then become the guy that invented that as well???

Sink the ship from Christopher Columbus...
Even Hitler would be solved, he would not have the idea, money and support from usa.
In 1928, Hitler remarked, approvingly, that white settlers in America had “gunned down 5 million of redskins to a few hundred thousand.”
And 90-95% wars would have been prevented.
Given the vikings had been there before and blue water navigation was becoming a thing there would surely have been someone along at some point, and in enough time to introduce the diseases. Aztecs might have been saved as that was a bit of a gambit but that might just as easily be delayed.

Wars wise plenty of scope for such things -- populations would grow in Europe (can't be having youth milling about doing nothing), famine would hit at one point, industrial revolution would give someone an edge...

edit. Forgot to mention re calculator. Certainly could have some fun but for accounts the bigger invention depending upon how far you go back is double entry book keeping and that is an idea more than an invention. Similar things would also see you do standardisation of engineering parts and measurements.

I wish i could go back the exact point in time and space where people were creating Pong, Tetris and these really old games and simply blast on those PCs with last generation hardware plugged on a 4K monitor and launch Elden Ring.
Their faces would be priceless. Then i would vanish like an hallucination.

I recently bought a bootleg English version of pokemon green from AliExpress, I would bring it back to the late 90s and instantly become the coolest kid on the playground

Does medicine count? If so, I'd take the smallpox vaccine back to the 1800s
Interestingly the smallpox vaccine was created in the late 1700s and already compulsory in some places by the very early 1800s (before 1810)

But anyhow since vaccine is inoculation with cowpox, you could actually go to any prior time and start to vaccinate directly from a cowpox lesion without bringing back any tools/vaccine material with you

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Not a big movie buff, more of a gamer tbh. And Series X is 120hz 8k ready, but yea only 120hz 4k games out right now, but thinking of in the future.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Mostly why you never see TV manufacturers going post 60hz
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I only watch tv when i goto bed, it puts me to sleep, and I have a nas drive filled w my fav shows so i can watch them in order, commercial free. I usually watch Married w Children, or South Park

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
