Well sir, I do believe gun control is a partisan issue, and I assumed Obama would maintain the stance he ran on, from factcheck.org:

He hasn't closed any loopholes. The NRA doesn't want terrorist watchlists preventing gun sales, what does Obama do ? People are shot, some to death at a town hall event in Arizona including a girl born on 9-11-01, what does Obama say about outlawing huge ammo clips ? ? Jack shit.

No, I've looked into it before. You know what I got? Pages and pages of BULLSHIT and black-power related sites. No respectable news source has commented on it and there's been no news story on it except some possible bullshit document from 7 HOURS AGO.

Three years ago, when it was ... ya know, RELEVENT TONS of places reported on the fact that there was a real document in Hawaii proving Obama was a citizen, there were scans of his certificate posted and tons of other evidence... which was all ignored by one group: the birthers.
The fact that you didn't know about it most likely means one of two things. Either you were oblivious to the news or you were ignoring it.

Frankly, I don't give a shit. I only know in that area what little I've actually researched into it. I have had other things that have occupied my time but I take responsibility for full-fledged ignorance of the situation of Obama's birth certificate. So would you please enlighten me on this situation, and I'm sorry for spouting my ignorance earlier. :ashamed:

Fuck that stupid idea of judging a president by his good and/or bad deeds and policies... Lets argue over the validity of his birth certificate. That will fix the mess this country is in for sure.

Two things to note (read: dispel conspiracy theories):
1). The JUN - 6 2007 is when that copy was printed. That is the same copy which was used for his Presidential bid. The reason it is backwards is because it was stamped on the back of the document and bled through a little bit and possibly made more visible by the scanner.
2). The blacked out area was hidden because in their (the President's campaign) rush to get the information out they were unsure if it was an important number. Since the number turned out to be non-identifying, it has been released and the number itself is "151 1961 010641".
