Updating Wild Area news on SwSh offline?

Hey guys

Firs of all, apologies if this has been asked. I searched the whole forum but could not find a direct answer.

I read that we can update the wild area using pkhex.

I wanted to do this because I play with both systems (my ofw OLED and my brother uses my V1 cfw with NSP) and I would like him to participate in some raids with me, but since I have the wild area's latest update, he is not able to join my raids.
I don't need fancy max raid mods or anything. Just wanted him to join me and have some fun

Is there a way? And if there is, is there a guide I can follow or read about?

Thanks a lot for the reply. I tried that before and I had some doubts in how to do it. (Still doesn't work after I imported the said files)
Even posted on that forum, but since I was using an NSP on one of the consoles, they refused to help me and blocked the thread

They even called me a pirate and that they would not in any way help or support me.

I just tested their guide on importing indexes and imported the correct one (all 6 files on the correct blocks in pkhen). But the issue persists.

I thought it was easier to play locally between one original cartridge and one hacked console

It really is related to it. I uninstalled the game, ran the cartridge base game and I could connect both. But as soon as I update wild area news, I can't host raids anymore

I tried importing the block data related to the latest "version" of wild area, but the issue persists

Would you mind going over what your issue is again? It's not quite clear.

Is the issue that the save on the CFW Switch is unable to join raids hosted by the save on the OFW Switch or is it that the save on the OFW Switch cannot host raids?

Do other local communication features work between the two consoles, such as trading and battling?
