Hacking USB drive instead of SD Card for Homebrew Launcher (HBL) & Loadiine GX2, possible??

Now we have IOSU exploit, Can we have access Homebrew Launcher (HBL) & Loadiine GX2 via USB thumb drive instead of SD card in the near future?

We already have homebrew launcher from usb/system memory. Its called haxchi.
As for loadiine why not legit tickets?

As for your question we would need to let the wii u except fat32 drives.

Maybe we can edit a game and install it on the console to the USB that when you load it loads certain Homebrew, but you wouldn't be able to change anything or load things on USB that aren't packeged on the game unless you edit it again.

Probably until we get some form of IOSUHax we will not have anything, and maybe we will never have something like that, oh well.

No, because you can't actually load things saved on an USB, only the Homebrew Launcher, you still have to have every homebrew and files on an SD Card.

But that's not the request here, Hama is wondering if a FAT32 HDD will be possible now that we have IOSU hack. You know, like what people expected for 1 year and thought IOSU made things magical on day one

To answer you : This is in progress !
Dimok added an easy method to access files, and it could lead to libFAT support. (on homebrew only ! not on system menu, it will still ask to format if not UStealth'd).
Then @Yardape8000 mentionned he will (try?) work on it in near coming days.
You will have to use CFW with IOSU node feature first before launching loadiine though, but that's not an issue I guess.

Maybe what Yardape will do is not FAT32 HDD support, but direct game loading from WiiU HDD launched from loadiine?

any progress is a progress, just wait and it might be a thing
