Vista SP1 RC Public Release

This is the release candidate for Vista SP1. The link provided gives the utility to modify the registry to allow the SP1 download. This has actually been around for a while, but this is an official release.

The SP1 release from what I've heard does not offer any performance enhancements, it's more of a compatibility release along the lines of SP1 for Windows XP. SP2, may yield the performance, but then again if that's another year away along with the release of SP3 for XP and the upcoming Windows 7, a lot of people will just skip Vista altogether.
