A few months ago i read an article on torrentfreak which is a news blog devoted to piracy. This article stated that youtube will start to target videos that promote piracy or help enable piracy. The first targets were videos of setting up Kodi and the multiple addons to watch pirate streams and movies. I also heard some PSVita henkaku videos were taken down. What makes some videos stay up and some come down? I am still not sure.
Lets be frank about SX-OX. If you have this device you have booted an xci or a nsp.
You did not buy this device to play super mario bros NES,SNES on your switch.
Ive been modding systems and computers since i was a kid. The first system i modded was a Playstation 1. I modded it with a mod chip in 2000 so i could play VCDs. That lasted about 4 months until i found out the true power of the chip.... lol
Everyone hides behind the "i want to run homebrew" thing. Giving them a sense of this is OK.
I do believe once you buy the console it is yours. I do believe if you want to mod it or jailbreak you can and should!
But once you download and boot that copyrighted game.... you are in the wrong. you have stolen even if its from a multi-million dollar company.
As i said i've been modding consoles longer than most. Since i was 17 and I am 35 now. I have seen the efforts of Sony, Microsoft and well Nintendo never did a good job to protect themselves from this.
If you are one of those that used freeshop on 3DS or CDNSP..... You have literally been A$$Fuc*** Nintendo for a long time. The ride is over.
As always piracy is a cat and mouse game and the cat is very much awake now.
Youtube will not play by fair rules. Do not expect them to take back strikes or to be very helpful. Prepare to witness customer service via bots and pre-written messages.

though what you say is true, these videos are most of the time banned globally. feel free to lawyer up vs Youtube. Because thats how it works in America. Somebody violates your rights and you lawyer up. If you don't then you lose.

Fascinating.
I notice by your flag, you're from Portugal?
In America, we have something called the first amendment. It protects freedom of speech. You can have bomb-making guides and other "extreme" content (all a matter of opinion).
Freedom of speech doesn't protect content you agree with. It was specifically designed to protect speech you DON'T agree with. Including things that may be deemed potentially damaging to a company's profits like showing how to commit piracy on a platform. And I say "potentially" because it has never been proven that piracy leads to lower sales. In fact, many studies have shown that piracy actually increases sales.
If you notice, companies' legal teams have to deploy all their resources to squashing people, but if it ever goes to trial, they completely lose under first amendment claims. They always go for summary judgement to see if they can get injunctions and things like that and most people end up settling (like that PS3 hacker who agreed to not hack Sony products for life and all those other weird restrictions).
How is revealing information freely about how to hack a Nintendo system any different that Zero Day exploits of how to hack a browser and gain control of a PC (which Google reveals publicly)? It's not. Corporate interests do not trump the individual rights of people. Maybe in socialist countries they do, but not in freedom-loving countries like America - we actually respect liberty.
