one of the benefits of the new theme is the option of dark ui without using extensions

It probably popped up just now because something you clicked refreshed your page cache so it was forced to load the newest layout or something?

yeah, the new one is... it has no contrast between sections of the page. it just looks like a lumps of text put into a blender and made into a website.

UPDATE!!!

If you SCROLL to page down, the videos categories or lists plus any comments on each video will AUTO LOADING! Java script style! Better than pressing Load more videos or comments button! I got this when scroll to bottom of YouTube site and will automatically loads another one. Other website also make this style before!

Man, it's enjoyable interface. Also, dark theme.
Great for tablets since I always had trouble hitting anything due to youtube taking forever to load, now it just takes seconds.

At first, it seemed like a mess. But I always like the YouTube Gaming UI, and the dark theme looks like it, it's actually pretty nice to look at
