What do y’all do when you’re bored besides scour forums??

I bother my girlfriend, watch anime, watch some of Hermitcrafters, play some games, and hike. I mostly bother my girlfriend because I am like a pet dog but worse.

I've tortured myself for the last couple months setting up a Kodi - Launch Box entertainment center PC thing for the living room, being overly OCD while doing it.
I have a 50 GB collection of music from various Asian artists that aren't tagged consistently (no album covers for some, names in Katakana, some in Romaji, some in Hangul, you get the idea) and I try to tag them all properly. It's a pain as I'm not even done 1/4 of the way but I do get satisfied knowing that there's some consistency in them after tagging them properly.

I draw or paint. And when I get bored of that I'd play videogames. And when I get bored of that I'd come here to the EOF to shit post. And when I get bored of that, I'd draw or paint.

Go wandering around in the world to find fodder for the previous things. Including tools to fix things and pull more things apart in a giant feeback loop.

It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem. -

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
