So you didn't read the discussion thread about atmosphere then? No. I have never used Github before, so i'm here asking for useful replies, on a Forum based on discussions.

I see. What's the thing about signature patching?Progress is still happening, and you can check on that progress here. It will be done when it's done. If you're using CFW on your Switch already, you're almost certainly using parts of Atmosphere.
Edit: Aside from signature patching, it already has a lot of the major features a person would want from a Switch CFW.
That thread is about 133 pages, you know. That's why i'm asking for a summary about the situation. So you didn't read the discussion thread about atmosphere then?
I must be mixed up. I was thinking about summer vacation being over in early August, so I was assuming that that is when summer itself ends. :|Summer technically ends on like Sept 21 AFAIK
Read the last 10 pages. It'll take you 10 minutesI see. What's the thing about signature patching?

No, i prefer making a thread about it, as you sawRead the last 10 pages. It'll take you 10 minutes
If a CFW uses OS patches to prevent signature checks, then we can do things like run titles that we've manually installed. For example, we could install DevMenu or a homebrew application directly to the home menu, like one can do on the 3DS. It's a basic feature that's surprisingly absent at this stage of development.I see. What's the thing about signature patching?
Yeah indeed. Funny and also a waste of everyone's time since you can't be arsed reading. No, i prefer making a thread about it, as you saw
Oh it's about piracy then, ok. Thank youIf a CFW uses OS patches to prevent signature checks, then we can do things like run titles that we've manually installed. Edit: It's a feature that's probably absent because it could/would lead to installing pirated game titles like one would do with games in CIA format on the 3DS.

I've read the whole things and still have no idea about atmosphere current state. But everyone are, apparently, retarded.
In principle, there are several ways around that problem. The main hurdle is the signature patches. In other words, we can't talk about which kinds of illegitimate titles can be installed without first solving the problem that prevents all illegitimate titles from being installed.Signature check patches don't enable you to install dev apps, they are dev encrypted, retail Switches don't have the keys to decrypt them. You first need to reencrypt them with retail keys, a process that right now is only possible by modifying SDK tools. (and it has still not been achieved)
Va bien. OkPlease don't reply just to say you reported a post. Just report and move on.
