What does two Entrees means? Do I get two entrees on my one plate and a friend for two entrees on his/her plate?

Entrees has entered somewhat common lexicon these days (or at least I went to an American fast food restaurant that used the terminology the other day) but if you are going to fancy restaurants it may pay to brush up on the basic French terms you might find in such a place.

Most set menus for multiple people though (of which dinner for two is one, internally they are used to give the restaurant a given level of income and simplify cooking for larger orders -- if you have soup as a starter then you are not ordering a fancy one they have to cook) will expect you to share, exception tending to be a shared platter which might see you order some side dishes for yourself in many places (Indian restaurants might do something known as Thali which is a bunch of small dishes you mix and match from, seen similar in Chinese).
