Are you okay? Happened to me 20 years ago.
Happened 10 years ago and I’ve gone to therapy to work through it. At the time, I wasn’t ok at all due to poor choices. I was in an extremely abusive relationship, my ex was cheating on me and gaslighting me into believing I was poly, and I was hundreds of miles away from my family and friends. I was literally at the end of my rope and decided to game end myself by drinking an entire bottle and a half of cheap vodka at a party. My heart ended up stopping and I had stopped breathing before my ex brought me back. It was a bad time and honestly, I am glad I got the help to work through that pain. I am not going to lie, seeing the Void left me fucked up. I hope no one else sees it before their time

I'm only worried about pain. Since I was a kid I've been "dying" to know what happens after. I'm not saying I want to end it or anything, I'm just very interested to know. Whatever it is it can't be too bad. I've never heard a dead person complain.

We are all afraid of what we don't know. And it is physically impossible to find out what will happen after death, so this is the eternal fear of humanity.

Speaking of which. time for my meds :) Which includes Zoloft

I quit taking that garbage (and Gabapentin) years ago and never felt better. Are you absolutely sure you need it, or do they just tell you you need it? I've found natural substances have worked FAR and above any man made medication they've ever wanted to shove down my throat. And without the terrible side effects Zoloft and the other shit gave me.... which became even worse for a short period when I stopped taking them. Anything that gives that shitty of side effects when you stop taking it, can't be that good for you to begin with. I'm not telling people to stop taking their meds, but I will tell them to consider looking into better options.

How about explaining "The Void" you speak of. In one post you say how tempting it is, but in the next you say you hope no one else sees it before their time. Explain this "void" and why you hope no one else sees it if it was so tempting. Are you trying to keep it all for yourself? lol

Q: What's the Scariest part of Dying?

A: Making sure you've left enough money/assets behind to pay for your funeral, you don't want to burden someone else with that.

As for death itself, there's nothing to fear, you're going to die at some point so just learn to accept that it's part if your life cycle, just the same as being born really - you weren't scared before you were born as you can't remember anything before it, death is the same - you won't remember anything after it so all those worries will dissapear as soon as you cease to exist. Also why worry about something you have no control over and something that's inevitable? To me it's the same as worrying about the speed our planet is travelling through the universe, it's pointless to think about such things. You'll find out all about death when it's your time to die and and not before it, no matter how much you think or worry about it.

I'm also afraid I'll be sent to heaven :(:sad::cry::cry::cry:

I'd rather be where my friends are 🔥
You don't need to worry about heaven, you'll be sent where the rest of the people that lead your lifestyle go to. - cooked until you are dust or end up as worm fodder and that will be the end of your story, in a few years once the people that know you die, it will be like you never existed at all.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
