I thought that was only for Wii discs?Since you have a Wii, you can run a retail disc with Nintendont and apply the AR Codes with it.
pretty sure you can also boot gamecube discs with cheats on usbloader gx
I'll second the suggestion to load your save into an emulator, apply the cheat, and save. I've done that with DS games that would barely run on my old, overheating laptop, and though they ran at 15% speed, I only needed about 10 seconds to get the job done.I can't use USB Loader GX because:
1. I don't have the ROM. I play from disc.
2. The ROM wouldn't fit on my SD Card.
Does this mean I can boot from disc or no?
Couldn't tell from the post. If you can use Nintendont, DIOS-MIOS, or NeoGamma with a disk, then it seems like it should work. I don't know if you can, though.Does this mean I can boot from disc or no?
Alright, I'll study Nintendon't, backup my save (you know, just in case), and try it!Couldn't tell from the post. If you can use Nintendont, DIOS-MIOS, or NeoGamma with a disk, then it seems like it should work. I don't know if you can, though.
I was just about to link to that, and you should be able to use cheats with a retail disc. If not, just make a backup with CleanRip
If I understand, the code included with AR only gets you 3 of them.Nintendon't + retail disc.

Enable codes for the game in Nintendont's settings (B-button).
If you want, I could even make the gct cheat file for you.
EDIT: wrong quote.
One last question before I use this. The cheat file is in the zip file attached to this post.
All NES games will be in the Lost & Found, so just grab the ones you want/need. Credits for the code goes to JasonHaffner.
It works! Thanks! The cheat file is in the zip file attached to this post.

No problem. I just glad that the codes worked, given that I didn't test them myself. One last question before I use this.
Nintendon't DOES work with microSD cards, right?

It works! Thanks!

This issue was already worked out. That method required all kinds of CiOS stuff, and since I have no brick protection (my Wii was manufactured after 2008, RIP Bootmii) I decided against that method. In the end I used Nintendon't.Action replay won't break it, in fact, I remember someone porting action replay to homebrew on the wii so you could use your disc and send cheats VIA SD card.

BUMP
Animal crossing NGC was also released as Animal forest on the N64
Do you know if the NES games are in this version?
