Hacking Homebrew Why do cheats not work on WiiVC games?

Is it because of the Wii U cpu emulating the Wii one? Are address values all messed up?

I'm trying to get all my games on one HDD, but AFAIK Wii games with cheats only work on Wii U by plugging in another HDD and booting it from the original Wii mode.

Is there any workaround to get WiiVC games with cheats functional on the same HDD the Wii U uses for Wii U games?

well wiivc injects dont have acess to fat32 usb so if your stuff is there it wont be loaded your basically starting a vanilla game.

for cheats to work you need to use a loader and loaders cant acess fat32 usb while injected so to get cheats on wiivc injects you would need wiigames in the sd card and running a loader that supports running wii games off sd instead of usb.
