Looks kinda crappy, but who knows, splitscreen could be fun.

Also I love the fact that it has licensed japanese cars like the EVO X and the Skyline GT-R R34.

yep. it goes like this, slightly confusingly:
JP -> US -> Euro
Choro Q HG -> Gadget Racers -> Penny Racers
Choro Q HG2 -> Road Trip -> Road Trip Adventure
Choro Q HG3 -> Road Trip Adventure Avenue (cancelled) -> Gadget Racers
Choro Q HG4 -> ChoroQ -> ChoroQ
Choro Q Works -> japan only
theres also the tank one that i forget the japanese name of, but it was released as "Seek and Destroy" in both US and Europe
and thats only the PS2, there have been Choro Q games for the PS1, GBA, GBC, GC and possibly others. the series tailed off a bit in recent years - a DS game was announced as one of the earliest titles for the system but subsequently disappeared and was presumably cancelled - so it'd be interesting to see how this one has turned out.

i quite enjoyed the first choro q jap version on the psx, it still had cartoony gfx but the tracks wernt gimmicky like the newer ones appear to be.

I liked the first Choro Q on the PSX too

...but this one is not good, controls are very bad (not as bad as a Data Design game but just not good)



btw - game doesn't work on PAL, if you want to play it on PAL you need to boot with FreeLoader /GeckoOS
