Wii or no Wii?

For the last few days I've been thinking about getting a Wii, but I don't know if now is the time. Do you think the prices will fall? This is the Wii I'd be buying. I'd put a modchip in it if I got it. Also what modchip do you think I should put in it? I'd be using a WiiClip.

What do you think?

I would advise a WiiKey2. Seems nice enough.

I doubt prices will fall, its almost christmas, Im sure the price will remain the same till after christmas and into January or february

Sure, there are ways to remove it. Try searching "epoxy" on Youtube, and you should find several methods to remove it. The Heat Gun one seems the best.

After you've removed the epoxy, you can place the WiiClip on the chip

You need a precision tip of some kind. A little scalpel or some electronics tweezers.

Honestly, no. I've had a Wii for I think around a year now... and yeah, I never play it. I guess it's more of a personal choice, but there's maybe one or two good Wii games that actually make me want to play them. The other ones are all crap.

If I could go back in time and save that money, I 100% would. And then I'd get a 360, and I'd probably be playing it everyday :\

If you want a Wii, I'd get it now, so you can avoid the October 23 update on freshly manufactured ones.

The price probably will not drop because of the massive demand.

Still, never thought I'd say this, but if you're not looking at many Wii games, consider a 360.

Sorry to sound dumb but can't I use a hair dryer and not hot gun? And I still don't get how hard it is.....
