Wii U New HBL GUI concept + new name : eBrew Store

Hi guys!

I already showed this in the ForTheUsers Discord but I wanted to show to everyone in here!

This is a concept I made from thinking to made a fresh update for Homebrew Launcher, but I think it needs to be brand new to live in the both homebrew world of Wii U & Switch.

eBrew Store Concept 1.0b

It's combining HBL and Homebrew App Store at the same time, it can be named simply as ''eBrew'' to be more short & sweet for everyone to remember.

Can be really useful in terms to download every single homebrews as to use them into the Wii U/Switch with it.

Currently making icons for the HBL right now.

Looks nice, but when the Aroma cfw environment launches, the Homebrew Loader as a channel will no longer be usable as a channel. The benefit though is that all your homebrew apps in the new environment will appear on your home screen instead and be launchable right from there. I asked Maschell if we could still use the Homebrew Loader if we desired in the new environment, and from what I recall, he said as a channel it will no longer function in the new environment. Now I may have some details wrong here, but I'm fairly certain this is how he described the new environment. So while your UI looks great, it may be kind of a moot point for the future of the scene when the transition eventually happens to the new and improved cfw environment. Having said that, Maschell also has seemed to put the project on the backburner for the time being, so if you could make this thing happen soon, maybe we could some use out of the improved looking Homebrew Loader before the next big thing for the Wii U launches and shakes up the scene.

Perhaps the key here isn't to change the Homebrew Loader itself to incorporate the Homebrew App Store, but instead change the Homebrew App Store so that it can also launch any apps you have installed. Maybe in that scenario, the updated app store app could function as a faux homebrew loader in an age where we no longer have a proper homebrew loader.

Yeah I saw this, seems the project is on hold, but he still talks about it in discord, I get the feeling it will release eventually, though it may not be for awhile yet.

Yes I talked to Maschell, he's not working on it right now but it was not to make it absolutely. I just really enjoy to design any kind of UIs & I'm a Nintendo fan since my 4 years old so yeah, came with this idea!
