There was another discussion about this, but was more about using the 3DS as a controller and Stream Play.
This thread is about creative ways Nintendo or other Developers could use both systems to enhance gameplay
or reward the user in various ways.
Think of this:
I go out on a walk, bring my 3DS with me.
Arrive home and see I got 10 Play Coins to spend.
Boot up my WiiU, connect the systems and transfer those
coins, so I can spend them on my WiiU system or games
to get special apps, demos, in-game content and unlock
misc. things, like with the 3DS!
How about this?:
My friend and I got the brand new Smash Bros Game.
Only I got it for 3DS and he got it for WiiU.
I go to his house and he is playing, I boot up my game
with my 3DS and press A on "Search for WiiU Games"
I see him playing so I press start, then I challenge him
with my 3DS Exclusive characters… on the WiiU!!
Or this?:
Im playing the just-released Mass Effect: Second Universe
a brand new WiiU experience. But I need extra experience points
or new weapon add-ons, so I turn on my 3DS and choose
Download Play, it recognizes ME:SU, and what do I see?
A set of exclusive mini-games that give me WiiU in-game rewards!
A similar idea could be this:
Im playing a Noir-Style Detective game on the WiiU, throughout
the game I find hidden special caches, I can only open them using
in-game money or resources, OR I could use Download Play
to see them, inside you could find hints and clues, or e-books
expanding the story or giving a bit more background to the
characters, maybe some caches will give you in-game money too!
What else? This!!:
Im playing Mario Party WiiU and I unlock pictures of the special
Media Gallery, if I connect my 3DS I can see them in 3D, the same
for videos, or maybe even transfer one mini-game to the 3DS
to play it on the go.
Aaaaaaa:
After one month of the WiiU release, Swapnote U is released
the app lets me exchange messages with my WiiU Friends
but also, with my little brother who is playing 3DS in his room
or to my online friends with 3DS.

How about a reverse situation? Instead of the WiiU giving
games to the 3DS, how about the 3DS giving games to the WiiU?
Mario Kart 7 had a hidden option that unlocked with the WiiU
launch date. You can actually send a track and play with a friend
using both systems and using the cameras you both see your faces
on the screen! (Similar to how StarFox 64 3D multiplayer worked).
The possibilities are endless and while you already have the WiiU Tablet and most content would have to be developed
exclusively for the 3DS that does not mean it can't be done. What do you think? Share your ideas!
sorry about my grammar and english, im not that pro.
