Well, because now porting snd downgrading, for example, ps4 games to switch isnt really that much of a problem, but imagine now when the power difference between a ps5 and switch could cause. Yes, since the switch will remain popular and selling, ps5 games could still be coming, but the downgrade would be so hard that we would be back to the wii era, with games from the bigger consoles being downgraded to hell, missing features, game modes, etc. That is the fear of the op, UNLESS third party developers put more time and money on switch exclusive games, which i doubt, since porting even to the weaker consoles is less time and money consuming and also they can simply outsource the porting....
