Is this a native port or is there it for Linux on the switch?
Yes, it's for Lakka. It's Linux, but specifically designed just to emulate stuff through Retroarch. Doesn't have sound support yet.

why is everyone so against linux/lakka?

honestly asking because i don't know
No sound support.

I'm not "against" it, per se, I just think it's wildly inconvenient and I hope that it doesn't set a precedent for most homebrew being on Linux instead of Horizon. Once we get 3D acceleration on Horizon I think it will be fantastic though.

Its just inconvenient. You have to reboot and re enter RCM every time you want to use it, and because of the battery desync and lack of sleep mode, you can't use it on your switch for a long time. Im just hoping for GL/Vulkan in hekate so i can use this then.

The battery desync has been fixed for several days, but yeah, still no sleep mode and still dependent on RCM.

There was no sound in the video
and how do you suppose one captures bluetooth audio for a video? (EDIT: well, now that I think about it, he could have paired it with a powered speaker IF he had one available...)

Yes it does. Via bluetooth. RTFM.
Code:
How do I setup Bluetooth audio ?

[LIST=1]
[*]Make sure that Audio driver is set to pulse and Audio and Audio sync are enabled
[*]Enable Bluetooth in Services
[*]Pair your headset using SSH : (use Putty on Windows, credentials are root and root)
[LIST=1]
[*]bluetoothctl
[*]agent on
[*]scan on
[*]Wait for your headset to show up and see its MAC address
[*]pair XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX, put the correct MAC address (protip : use tab-completion)
[*]trust XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
[*]connect XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
[/LIST]
[*]If the audio is choppy, make sure to update the boot/tegra210-nintendo-switch.dtb file on your SD card (take the one from the latest update archive)
[*]After a reboot, it should autoconnect to your device if it’s available and still paired
[/LIST]

We’re not going to see a native Horizon version until a GL driver is ported. The appeal of Linux is that most of the Tegra drivers already exist.

[21:10] aliaspider: if you have vulkan and GL it will be easy to make it work
[21:10] m4xw: aight
[21:10] m4xw: thats what i wanna hear
[21:11] aliaspider: the only thing that might not be there by default are C++ threads but that is also easy to add
[21:11] aliaspider: and will be needed for other codebases as well

    Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)

    I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
