Noting a bit more, now comparing it to the official UNDERTALE game...
- Nice touch screen easter egg!
- Physics are still off, though I do get this will take time. Try a speed of 1.25x to 2x the current speed, experiment a bit. If physics are too odd, battles (if they're ever implemented) would be a bit different.
- That might be why the walking down/up look so odd to me...
- Collision is a bit off between LOVE and UNDERTALE. Try hitting the right wall of your bedroom on both.
- I can walk right past warp points/bariors (under the cutoff rug, to the left or right of the door)
- No way to turn the lamp off, literally 0/10 worst port even though this isn't even really a port
- No way to return to menu.
- No text SFX music on the intro. (I forgot which it was, I'm an idiot.)
- Pressing A to pause/unpause takes a bit too long.
Now, I'm not trying to be demanding or anything, just trying to think of ways for you to improve the homebrew!

Something something I was lazy<3 Please note though that I don't intend on making wall collision coords being 100% faithful. Unless I run out of things to do lol.
This is currently a restriction of LovePotion. @TurtleP is working on implementing audio streaming, so for now I can only have a few sfx and like one bgm :'v
FINALLY. V0.10.
As usual, this isn't done, but I added several small things. Feel free to try it out and see how little there still is to do in it. ;u;
Changelog:
After a long break, I've done quite a bit of stuff today:
-fixed main font, no longer blurred.
-broke the intro font, will be fixed when LP font bug is fixed.
-adjusted movement speed to better replicate Undertale.
-fixed collision in several spots.
-started implementing the pause menu (press start, just visual; can't interact yet)
-started base for interaction code, pretty close to being done.
-modified a lot of internal workings.
-redid direction code to be accurate when compared to most 2D games.
-added functions for telling if a key was pressed or is being held, enabled the above.
-some other stuff probably.
Gonna list some bugs, nitpicks, oddities, and comments I have.
- Toriel's "z" on her menu sprite is still a bit odd looking.
- "undergound" typo
- The intro font is spaced less than in UNDERTALE.
- There are still minor inconsistencies with walking graphics. Holding up and left/right on a wall in UNDERTALE makes left/right graphics appear, while in LOVE it keeps the up graphics. Same goes for walking on a right wall, holding right and pressing up or down changes graphics to up or down in UNDERTALE, but not in LOVE.
- in the Pause menu, it shows
Frisk as the player's name. Which would be reasonable if this were a hard mode run. And I'd say it is, you've been locked into Toriel's house with no access to anything past the hallway.

- Toriel's "z" on her menu sprite is still a bit odd looking. sorry ;;
- "undergound" typo fuuuuu-
- The intro font is spaced less than in UNDERTALE. see the changelog: intro font was replaced with the more widely used in game (and not mono spaced) font 8bitoperatorJVE, LP can only handle 2 fonts right now afaik, though @TurtleP seems to have worked around it.

Same goes for walking on a right wall, holding right and pressing up or down changes graphics to up or down in UNDERTALE, but not in LOVE. LOVE respects whichever key you pressed first as your primary direction, until it's released. I won't fix that, it works as intended : P
It's more betterer.

Placeholder, unless I decide to force it. Probably gonna add a text input for it if/when saving becomes a thing. Thanks for the feedback, I was waiting for someone to actually reply to the update ;-;

Hah, I tried making a LOVE program once to display an image to both screen. I got it to display an image to the bottom screen.
It doesn't help that I have no idea how to do anything...

Wow this is pretty cool, what I love about it is that it is so smooth, also am I doing something wrong or are you supposed to only be able to see the bedroom and part of the hall?

Yes the only two rooms right now are the bedroom and part of the hallway. I'm focusing on interaction coding right now (right now I'm at work haha), so when that's done I'll start adding more areas. But thanks! It currently runs over 60fps, unlike Undertale which runs capped at 30. I hope it stays pretty high but we'll see.

I doubt someone will try to download this in the next 24 hours, but just in case...
All download links will be down until tomorrow night. I moved the old repo, and made a new one that isn't a fork of LovePotion with LOVE files. Instead I have only LOVE files on it now.
I also added a proper license and such and credit for content. Check it out here if you want: https://github.com/Xavyrr/LOVE
