This looks like an acekard clone. Now we have to see if akaio works on it!

Mbmax says it's a GEi clone (same DLDI)...which was a clone of the Acekard IIRC, though most likely AKAIO isn't going to work on that any more than it does on the GEi (GalaxyEaglei btw), which pretty much means that chances are it won't work at all.

I don't like seeing all these Acekard clones. I shudder at the thought of someday witnessing an Acekard brand-name clone saturation of R4 proportions.

i think the system files are just junk

if they can make a better one i think i will buy one, if i buy a nintendo 3ds

I know someone who got the iEvo 2 weeks before it was out...and they didn't even review it..they just kept the damn thing..and they are proud of that!...yet the supplier keeps sending em carts...so not fair

Since when did we review R4 Clones? I looked at the firmware. R4 1.18 and uses the R4 DLDI Driver. It's a fake R4. lol why is this front page news!? WHY!?

Regardless of the cart, it's a useful unboxing.

My 2 cents - if that is the reader I think it is, it is a pretty decent one. I bought one myself off of dealextreme and I love it.

I have had a couple of those readers die after doing a large transfer.

I have been using one of these ones for a while now. I have done quite a few complete backups with it and it is still going strong.

Why is everyone saying that the R4 is terrible now? Since it got Wood it's actually become a pretty decent cart and for its price, you can hardly complain. That's just me.

Odd, I have used mine for many large transfers (copying whole card backups of cell phone, iTouchDS card, and Wii/SDGecko cards) without a single problem.
