xbox hdd upgrade problem

so i had upgrade my og xbox hdd today and i got the error 13 what do i do?
tutorial i followed
any help is appriciated.

EDIT: got it fixed the ide cable was the issue (i think)

Put your old HDD back in and use Chimp to clone the C drive to the new HDD.

Make sure to make a backup of your original HDD's C, D (and F/G) folders with FTP and copy them to the new drive that you prepared with Chimp.

Error 13 basically means that the Xbox cannot boot the dash.

ok i will try thanks also i have an 80 wire ide canbe to use with my adapter (sata->ide) but i didn't use it, i get this error with the normal 40 cable one but dont know if its the same with the 80 wire

You'll need to enable the G and F partitions.
Somewhere in the UnleashX dash, there should be an option to toggle the drives.

Are you hard modded or soft modded?
If hard modded, cloning is not necessary,
You could just use an Auto-Installer..

You will have to use Ultra IDE cable (80 wire) for Large SATA drives,
Otherwise your data WILL corrupt over time!

I use 80cm long Ultra IDE cables, I can fold them in a way
so I dont end up with a rats nest and doesnt require the flipping
of the HDD IDE Connector...

1.6a xbox 80 wire ide cable and made it work with a 120gb hard drive but i still have a 500gb drive and dont know what to do with it should i put it in my ps2?

My consoles: Ps2, Xbox og, Xbox 360, Ps4, N2dsxl, Ndsi

Shouldn't, but it does. Had the same issue a year ago when I put in a 1TB HDD. Purchased an 80 wire and my issues were solved.
