This is going to be a shortie. I have a terrible feeling this A.C. is going to be little more than a port of the otherwise free phone game many of us already downloaded and played. albeit without the tweaks that make the events happen on time/ timed etc... If that IS the case, I'm not so sure how I feel about paying $60. USD for a free game.
After reading the description on eshop, I know just a tiny bit more than I had already culled from the myriad of game bloggers predicting their expectations and goals. What I have noticed so far is.. no houses. No Houses? Are they making us love in tents throughout the game? That'll suck IMO. Anyway, it constantly break everything into further DL did not escape me how they said you could go through the pre DL process 'for each game you bought on the console' making it sound like you can buy several copies of A.C. I can't help but feel this whole one_island_per_console business is little more than a push to sell more games. This push on Nintendo's part into further DLC and thereby fracturing the game is what Microsoft has been doing for the past twenty years.
Years ago office (in its entirety), could be gotten FREE with your computer, now you rent it, per year, per module, or whole suite at an inflated price. And that's just the one suite of programs. This whole trend I feel does more to make me personally NOT buy their product. and search for alternate methods to accomplish that same thing, My point is, my taste for N is beginning to leave a bad taste in my mouth stating with how (I personally) feel they've screwed the pooch, cooked to golden goose, with Fire Emblem, but at least that can/ may be recovered in future episodes. I am seriously considering skipping this V. of A.C.. But heck they won't miss one person,. I'm probably the only one in the world that feels this way.
Just examine repeat version (successive) of POkemon, do they change the story much? Not really, and those who play it would be pissed if they took away the strategy involved with the game. Could you imagine Pokemon without knowing what type is was before battle? WEll then, you know how I feel about taking out the Sword-Axe-Lance and Magic Triangle as well (Light-Dark -Anima?).
Enough salt Here's hoping I'm totally wrong.
Pip-Pip Cherio and all that Happy Horse Sh1t.
Have a Great Flipping Day.
