Didn't the switch have a fucked up USB-C thing going on because it doesn't follow the spec? How do they make that work safely when they're claiming they are following the spec while the switch obviously isn't? Seems like asking for trouble

I ain't touching that with a 6 foot pole. Not because the ideas bad, but this sort of things happened before. And Nintendo changed code in the switch to make those docks incompatible beyond a firmware.

So where does my switch go? I'm I supposed to just lay it on the floor..... covering the intake ?

On its screen, potentially scratching it?

The original dock is perfectly portable, if you have the strength of a human over the age of 3, anyway. As an added bonus, it doesn't fuck up your system like some 3rd party ones do.
