Nintendos' Finite intellect amazes me... HELP (Large doses of Salt enclosed: You've been warned.)

I have scoured the internet and can't seem to find an answer. I want to transfer my 200 GB of games from one system to another, NOT redownload them all. After transferring my system and making the new switch lite a primary and the old one a secondary, but when I transfer the SD card it says I can't do that I have to redownload all the games! and then offers to wipe the previous DL games off the card!!! HELL NO!!!!

I have scoured their question boards and can't find the answer either...

The 3ds did it, why can't this. Anywhere I have asked around, everyone wants to tell me what I already know, as though they're some genius: " Oh transferring saves is easy blah blah blah, " I never said I wanted to transfer saves, just the games on the SD card.

I don't have enough data left this month to DL 200 GB AGAIN and wouldn't want to even if I could, my speeds are laboriously slow, to begin with. Why waste a month of net on a transfer. I'm sitting at 75 GB used and only have 1028 per month at a snails download speed to begin with, at $100. USD a month, (I know my net provider suck ass.) That's why they're called COX I guess...

They have something under transferring data /User but that only shows how to delete from the old system and says to DL all the stuff new on the other system; this sucks moose balls. unacceptable. oh and BTW that makes the games "no longer playable on the first console"; what's the point of primary and secondary then?

This means I have to DL 26+ GB for R.E. Rev ,2
12 gb for FF, another 12 for R.E. Rev. 10 for Grid, 10 for Okami, 10 each for another 8 games and then 5 GB... I think you're getting the idea, one months data in one transfer, this is the last console I buy from them, I swear my life on it.

I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I'll be dammed if I can figure out how to transfer the games to the new primary without redownloading ALL the games again. And if there is no answer, and I have to, I may just sell both consoles and give up on Nintendo gaming. No other console maker makes their transitions of games so convoluted. I hope hackers pirate the shit out of this console, just for making something so simple, into a complex epileptic seizure. Just to transfer a game. And they wonder why people want physical games only... Pft.

And here's something else they don't tell you: Not only does the secondary switch have to check online to see if other games are being played but THEY BOTH have to check first to see if the other is in use before a game boots, although I'm unsure what the result is if it can not connect: I can imagine....

Sorry for the rant I was about to go hari cari on this dammed thing.

I actually hope no one read this but I had to get it off my chest.

Interesting! I was actually about to do something like this! I was thinking about trading in my PS4 Slim that's just been collecting dust lately into GameStop for that sweet $200 off of a New Nintendo Switch (the one with the Mariko chip and drastic increase in battery life, not the Lite) and giving my older brother my clean Switch after wiping it of some games that might be a little too...spicy for his religion-influenced (not to mention relationship) tastes (*coughs* Bayonetta 1 *coughs*).

What I wanted to do is something like delete all of the games, but not necessarily the saves. You see, my plan was to give him the Switch, two 8bitdo controllers I don't plan on using anymore, a second pair of joy-cons and two charging joy-con grips that were remnants from a smart idea of mine to get some joy-cons and replace the d-pad on them so I can play 2-D games on the go with a d-pad that can actually register Hadouken and other complex motions much better than an analog stick ever could that went about as well as it sounds when I first tried to jerry rig one of them and gave up.

Not to mention, I wanted to get Smash Ultimate into all of that while also keeping the DLC that I bought on there if possible. You know, because it's not like my main account that I use on my Switch console is tied to my NSO account, right? But then I remember it's 2019, and that companies love treating their paying customers like they're criminals just like how TSA lines treat air travelers like so because of the actions of terrorists on 9/11/2001. Makes me wish for the good old days of memory cards, copying saves from one to the next (fuck the old Soul Calibur games for not letting you copy shit over) so you can give your friend who owns a copy of a game the same experience so they don't have to grind things out again, because I don't care about nostalgia, I'd rather be able to pick the character I want to play as or all of the characters from the start!

But what do I know? I'm just a dirty hacker who's worthy of being banned for wanting to play more games than what Nintendo will offer yours truly via their service that doesn't let you stretch a game to full screen and has obnoxious borders. Hell, if I had to use borders, I'd rather it be like the ones in Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R where they're themed to the game!

That is ridiculous. I transferred all my downloaded games from a 64GB mSD to a 200GB mSD with no issues, but I guess that's somehow different from putting the same card into a new system?
