I'm still reluctant to add a firmware-dependent kernel exploit into blargSNES. It's nice and all, but I think we're doing it wrong. Regular homebrews shouldn't use exploits, that's the role of the homebrew loader.
It should be possible to take the ninjhax base (the part where it hacks into CN and uses gspwn) and tack libkhax on top of that. And bam, full access, and done right. No need to hack homebrews. Everyone gets CSND.
As a bonus, libkhax seems to have much less side effects on the system than what ninjhax does (taking over spider/skater and leaving it run in the background in a half fucked-up state). This means we might be able to get working APT shit. And more generally, a more sane environment.
All of this is mostly theory, but hey, it has to be tried out. They say compiling Ninjhax is a pain, but uh, this is probably more worth trying out than the 'bare-metal blargSNES' idea. If there are any coders interested in that, let me know, any help is welcome
