That is odd... since that I am not on a lower firmware anymore I cannot confirm nor deny this.
I really believed it was Snipperclips was the software were I tested the update on.
Anyways. If you say it is not then we take the better for it and we will point out it is not possible anymore.
Is there a way I can verify that? I am picking it up this afternoon. But my Switch is already on 3.0.2

I can confirm that Just Dance 2017 works in 3.0.0 (the physical copy.) However, you can't use your smartphone, only Joycon, as you need to be connected to use your phone.

Its safe to assume that every game released from here on out will be 3.01 or higher. It would be nice if by some miracle the Odyssey cart has the 3.0 update but I'm not getting my hopes up.I hope that Super Mario Odsessy will be 3.0.0 but I doubt.
