I mean the version of luma3ds you use. If you use 9.0, it will say it if you hold down the select button while booting. If it doesn't say 9.0, or anything along those lines, take a screenshot of your sd card so I can confirm a few things. Also I would like to know the firmware of the actual 3ds console. This is found in system settings in the bottom right corner of the top screen.

Nice, thanks. First of all, decrypt9 is a bit old and outdated compared to newer Homebrews. If you want something with the functionality of decrypt9 and then some, I would suggest installing godmode9 https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/releases. It's still being updated unlike luma3ds and can do an infinite number of things by using community scripts. To install it, just put the godmode9.firm file in the payloads folder in the luma folder. To launch it, hold down start while booting and click godmode9. If you're really adamant about decrypt9 however, I could find an updated b9s compatible version.

I actually already have GodMode9, it just that I didn't know that it can also dump 3ds games. You see the reason why I am even asking for help, is because I wish to dump my Fire Emblem Awakening digital copy, so I could run the 0% Growths Hack (unfortunately I can't link it since I'm still new but you could search it up in google and find the serenesforest link)
Can you tell me how to do so?

When you go into godmode9, go to your sd card and go to the Nintendo 3ds folder. Choose the folder with random characters that has all of your games in it (if there are 2, it's usually the larger of the 2). Go inside the titles folder and you should seesfolders with a bunch of numbers. Look up the title Id for your game online to find out which folders to go into. In your case, fire emblem awakening (I'm assuming USA, Google your region if it isn't) is 00040000000a0500. This would mean you go into the "0004000" folder or something like that and then the "0000a0500" folder. Inside there should be a .app file. From there, just click on it and hit "build CIA from file". I'm not sure if you can directly build it into a .3ds or .cxi, but it should be easy to convert it into either of those. Some of the file names and directories might be slightly wrong, I'm doing this from memory.

There isn't any random character folder that you mention in the 3ds folder. The titles folder that you mention might not be the same as the title folder I have in my luma folder where I make my title id folder, in which I put the rom hack in it.

What do you see in the "Nintendo 3DS" folder? I think I missed a directory.

multiple folders for different things:
3DSident
CHMM2
ctr-httpwn
data
ftpd
hans
install
etc...
You're in the regular 3ds folder. I'm talking about the "Nintendo 3ds folder" that the 3ds saves everything to. Also, I would highly reccomend the guide above since it actually has access to a 3ds and isn't listing things from memory.

I should have mentioned this sooner, I'm pretty you don't have to dump your game to install this mod. You could probably just use luma layerdfs patching. Create a folder inside the titles folder inside the luma folder named 00040000000a0500 (or again whatever your region is) and create a folder inside of that called "romfs". Extract the romhack to that folder and tell me if it works.

I actually done that before, but it didn't work. It work perfectly fine with another mod I use for Fire Emblem Fates GGG: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release...e-emblem-fates-good-guy-garon-edition.487117/
But it doesn't work for the 0% growth mod. I assume it have something to do with the actual data in it when you download it.

Neveemind, it now working, I guess it because I didn't update Luma back then. Anyway, thank you so much for helping me with this problem, and now I can finally play FE:A at 0% growth. Wish me luck!

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
