Please can anyone of you tell us the advantages of using Linux on switch please?
I mean can we run Linux apps on it (specially emulators like retroarch, pcsx2 and dolphin)?
Current me if I'm wrong please.
Thanks.
I think it's just for the fun of doing it. Like when we run Windows 95 on the 3DS.

BTW, this uses U-Boot not any 'coldboot exploit', it wipes out your switch os, and replaces the 32gb nand emmc with linux. -- of course best to make a nand backup first via u-boot. -- You also need to short out a cap for split second to make switch detect that crc hashcheck is wrong on the nand so it boots into u-boot recovery mode.

Wow is this serious? I will enjoy watching others do it but I think I might keep it off my own console lol

I have no faith left in Salt after the WiiU nonsense.

"We have IOSU, we have CFW, we have full documentation, we will release when we think it's time" then they go totally silent and it takes a bunch of unknown randoms to actually drop anything. Say what you want about F0F but at least they straight up tell you they're never going to release their work and don't string people on for months with teasers before not releasing a damn thing.

To this day the fabled Salt WiiU CFW is no where to be seen and because they held onto IOSU for so long the scene never really developed, by the time IOSU did finally leak WiiU was already dying.

Now they're back and doing something multiple groups have already done....

Yay! /s

OP
its great to wake up here... a bunch of people bashing SALT for not doing anything on the WiiU but forgot about Salts 3ds Releases ? then we have Gary Xecuter Opa which explains how to replace anything on the switch to make it a doomsday , and why in the hell you guys need to Link ScriesM to it ? i mean its not like Michael had enough Drama and stuff to do so

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
