Attempted to compile, and this occurred afterwards:

What does "afterwards" mean? During boot, when starting a game, when staring Rosalina, ...? Did you check if the unmodified luma3DS works that you compiled at the start?

During boot, The splash loads, then this. This also occurs with the unmodified luma.

If this occurs with the unmodified version as well, the problem is not specific to the plugin loader. Maybe there is something wrong with your toolchain for compiling, but I'm not deep enough in the luma3DS code to be able to judge. Disable the plugin loader before launching an homebrew.

This is also something fixed in the next plugin system, homebrew detection is a thing

Iam having this issue with smash bros latest dlc 1. 1.7 it happen every time i press home to exit the game.

i found a game the Actrionreplay.plg is not working and the game is Rayman Origins,
screen flashes green but the plugin never loads and if you press select the game crashes.
not sure why but it does happen, and i still have the issue with the game Super smash bros
and the crash when pressing home button.

Oh yeah, this is a problem which has been solved. I just forgot to push the update.
The next update will come with the new plugin loader and it's almost ready.
Just a few bugs to solve on o3DS, n3DS support seems flawless so far.

Updates will be pushed to github to simplify the releases (for me) and it will allow more frequent updates.
Your guide is awesome even though I can't read it.

Due to the limited memory Mode 3 games offer, it's not possible to open the home menu.

"Just a few bugs to solve on o3DS, n3DS support seems flawless so far." is the last thing he said, and at least for me going by just "Just a few bugs to solve on o3DS" means that it's not fully ready yet as he wants to solve those bugs and depending on the bugs it could take some time..and either way still he will release it when he is ready, be it tomorrow, a week from now, a month from now or even a year or more from now..

There's 2 components to distinguish: the plugin loader and ctrpf.

The plugin loader needs some adjustments on Old3DS for Mode3 games to enhance the user experience. Those adjustments needs some more reverse engineering, which can be long to do.

And ctrpf needs to be adjusted to this loader. For most parts it works, but there are some bugs which were introduced with the changes made and need to be solved.
This can be long to figure the bugs and solve them. The plan is that I'll solve all the obvious bugs and do a release. Then, I'll do a release periodically with others bugfixes.

This is a known issue, and it do so with all games that uses the extra hid of the n3ds.
The fix is to enable the InputRedirection in Rosalina, you don't need to use it really, just enabling it will apply the required patchs.
