You'll probably have to decrypt the game. I just copied and pasted mine with ftpii u everywhere.
you can find and use CDecrypt, but it honestly might just be easier/quicker to install your game, and then use FTPiiU to locate the title on your Wii U/USB drive, and then copy the new content folder into that title's folder and clicking yes to overwrite those files.^ i have no idea how i would do that...
^ I installed FTPiiU and WinSCP and was able to successfully connect my wii u to my pc. How do i locate the injects i installed to the WIIU? Do i need to move them to my external first?
Unless they installed the game to usb, in that case, do the same thing in the usb storage folder and not the mlc folder.search for the game in the mlc. the folder will be half the content id (i.e.) 000500000/101A5600
I assume it's not, since he asks if he should move it there. I know on usb it's in the usr folder.Unless they installed the game to usb, in that case, do the same thing in the usb storage folder and not the mlc folder.
No you don't. You can replace the files on already installed DS game via FtpiiU. Again, if you do, just make sure you don't do it to your CBHC DS title if you have CBHC.omfg its so awesome, sadly we need to reinstall all games
Thanks for the share.
I would like to do that too, but how do you read the ID of the DS VC games stored in FTPiiU ? I suppose they are stored in storagemlc/usr/title/ID/ but how do you actually identify your DS games using their ID, is there a database or something ?
Granted.... Its not 'ideal'.... buuuut.... by entering the meta folders you can view the icons and banners to identify what game id you are in.
This is the method I used as most of my DS injects are all custom ones so there is literally no database for me! As i said tho, not ideal and could take a bit of time but a sure way of making sure you get the game you want!
just use the homebrew app saviine, when it loads up all your titles, you select anyone of them and it will tell you the title ID to quickly find it in ftpiiUThanks for the share.

Or in the event one is using loadiine and your games are in loadiine format, then you can quickly copy the content folder over onto your SD card and be done. I use Loadiine as essentially my DS emulator and only loaded it up with DS games and injects, so this may be something for others to consider as well.you won't have to mess with the internal wii u if you have the games on usb. there is no file manager for the wii u, but the only other way is to use nus packer and reinstall the game with the changes.
