Go into Hekate and check the battery info under console info, if the capacity full is low you might need to power off the unit and open it up and disconnect and reconnect the battery and let it calibrate it again, if that doesn't help you might need a new battery. It has nothing to do what CFW you are using.

The battery drains from 100% to 1% in one, or two minutes.
But i can play 2-3 hours on 1%. (it depends on what i play, Zelda -->2 hours, Shovel Knight -->3 hours).
I think the battery is OK, just the indicator shows false value.

Think you might need to completely shut it off and power cycle it again, might have to open it up if power cycling doesn't help.

I have tried these:
- Connected to charger direct, and then powered off, and then full charging 4 hours or more.
- Connected to charger direct, and then powered off with 12 seconds pushing poer button, and then full charging 4 hours or more
- Connected to charger direct, and charged in hekate whole night long (8 hrs+).
- Charged in docked mode while in hekate (4 hrs+)
- Used Hekate 4.2 Battery desync fix.

But nothing helped.

Might have to open it up, and unplug the battery while it is off and plug in back in, it worked for someone else.

(My ordered screwdriver set arrived today)
I have today dismounted my Switch to disconnect the battery.
But after the battery disconect the first power on was the battery percent on 100, and then happened again from 100% to 1% in less then a minute...

I remember reading some reddit posts about it sitting at 1% about a year ago. I think they fixed it by playing in handheld until the switch powered off on it's own, then recharged it?

I mean, you've tried everything else, maybe this will help.

Edit: May have to do this a few times.

I have been having the same issue. I have tried like 5 different "resets" and stuff. I will keep trying and of course let you know if I find a working route. Though I am open to other suggestions too :3

anyway i can recalibrate my battery info?
capacity full is nearly 200% of design.
this correlates to me seeing the switch shutting down around 50%
i get a good 3 hrs or more out of it but would like to know if i can get a correct % reading
thanks!

try reload hekate a few time it has recalibration when you boot into hekate on newer version, worse case you might have to run the battery dead or unplug as it not seeing correct value.

Yes, Hekate 4.10.1 and above apply battery recalibration at boot, since your is hard mod I would check the battery info and soldering work.
I haven't done the solder work myself and feel quite reluctant to open the Switch up, so I'll check the battery info then. Are there any specific things I should look for?

Look at capacity full, capacity design, and current now and voltage now rate it is discharging at.

Because co-pilot doesnt even show up on my pc. Not in the taskbar, not in the start menu search, and the option in settings to turn it on and off in the taskbar is not even displayed.

Well, I complain about Microsoft all the time. You seem to enjoy it, no offense. If you like using Windows, that's fine by me.

Tired of the entire "BUT BUT BUT WINDOWZ SPYWARE!!!" thing too, when the same people give out tons of their personal info to plenty of other companies but say nothing about it.

@RedColoredStars, Companies do the exact same thing with other companies as well, so it's not just Microsoft. There are 3rd-parties like 'data brokers'.

I'm 52 years old and one of my jobs in life was marketing research. Im well aware. I've been online for around 30 years. Everyone and their grandmother already has my personal information. One more having my email address isn't ruining my life or even effecting me in any way whatsoever.

$300 back last year from Rakuten for allowing them to track my purchase. I'll take the money for them to know I bought a bunch of stuff for my cat and some video games. lol

And for people to say things like "But I use all fake info". No, they don't. lol. They use fake info for all of their banking and online shopping? Fake shipping address, fake payment info? lol

Fake name, address and payment info for internet service, etc? lol. Ill say it again. Everyone freaks out about OMG WINDOWS!! But crickets on anything else they do.
  • RedColoredStars @ RedColoredStars:
Other windows stuff people complain about hypocritically too. Like "But but but Windows bundle junk apps!!!!" Yeah?? So do many Linux distributions. Dont like it? Use one without them. Same with windows. Either find a pre-made version without the bundled stuff, or very easily make your own installer with what you want and do not want.
