As I said before you would need to use the pkg/rif with the IDU method to install them (preferably on a console 7.55 or lower), then run dumper payload to get the console to decrypt it for you.Every tool I've tried always asks me for a passcode to decrypt the pkg. Is getting the passcode from the developers the only way to get the passcode or is there some other way? @KiiWii

Keys and SAMU. Current PS4 hacks don’t have any control over SAMU we just intercept after decryption and ask SAMU nicely to do various things for us. To do this externally would require a 1:1 emulator (see orbital by Alex Altea)… or keys… which we do not have access to.Legit question, a bit new to the PS4 scene. What's stopping someone from reversing how the console is decrypting the content and mirroring the process externally? I know it's not that simple as someone would have done it already, but what specifically is stopping it?
Interesting. If I find some free time I'll see if I can figure out a way to gain complete arbitrary execution of all areas. Been too long without a true CFW anyways.Keys and SAMU. I did, but then got caught up in some bullshit with the S21 development. Can you reiterate what you needed done for me again?I'm guessing no one has been able to actually look into this for me.
I literally just wanted one piece of music from the E3 kiosk demo, which was an unused rendition of the Spyro 1 theme.I did, but then got caught up in some bullshit with the S21 development. Can you reiterate what you needed done for me again?
Do you have the disc or demo?So is this actually doable at the moment?
Need a license or it won't decrypt.I have an encryped .pkg for it, but that's it. I don't think there's anything you could do with it tbh.
So is this actually doable at the moment?
It’s doable stop asking. No one is going to do it for you for free. Either get a hackable PS4 and do it yourself, or wait and hope someone eventually does it for their own reasons. As I said before you would need to use the pkg/rif with the IDU method to install them (preferably on a console 7.55 or lower), then run dumper payload to get the console to decrypt it for you.
Redeye’s tools only deal with RSA sector, not PFS. So you cannot view or decrypt the contents of the game, just the PKG icons, xml, and sfo etc.No idea if valid or useful, but seems there's a package decryption software in the wild: https://www.psxhax.com/threads/ps4-...-encrypted-package-entries-by-redeyex32.3254/
Seems if your PS4 is on the correct version (4.xx), you can privately decrypt the package to rip the files off of it.
