"Did you know that your Mac has a built-in FTP & FTPS client? You don't need to download any additional software or apps to connect to FTP sites from Mac OS X, instead you can connect to remote servers directly from your desktop by using an excellent and little known feature." i found that somewhere, and actually, it is build-in. ftp on mac was never easier!!
-windows guy lol, but it is true

Idk if this would be possible but MUGEN on 3ds would be amazing

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also is there a flash player and way to play flash games? I know if they get custom made or something they'll work because i have a few flash games on my n3ds but I was hoping for a universal flash player for all flash games

To my knowledge, no. However lightspark is a Flash Player reimplementation written in C++, so I doubt that it'd be impossible to port it to the 3DS if someone is up to the task of doing that.

If a slightly more advanced version of flipnote studio 3d were possible that would be cool. With features like being able to import audio files, have more layers, being able to use a color wheel instead of the like five base colors, or pretty much anything else that would make it better without changing it too much.

A way to view and upload to sudomemo through the app would also be quite nice.

Is there a tool or way to sort all games/titles by alphabetical order? in folders or on the main screen.

As it becomes a mess quick if you have a good few games.

Hey, just wanted to say that on the PS1 Retroarch emulator, it lags on N Tropy's boss fight in Crash Bandicoot 3, even with bios included. Along with some other places, but so far, it's very apparent in that boss fight. Other than that, it runs fine for the most part.

And to those out there working on making PS1 games playable on the 3DS, legendary work. It's mindblowing to me how it's possible.

The force required to jump in Kirbys Tilt n Tumble makes me worried about damaging the fragile New 2DS XL top screen or hinge. Don’t know if mGBA is listening but a button map for jump (L/R maybe?) would be nice. Or a rom hack mapping B to jump although it’s been a while since I played so I don’t know how that would affect the rest of the game.

Apparently I can't post URLs, but I'd request:

CGenius - A Commander Keen open source engine reimplementation. 2D classic platforms seem to be a good fit for the 3DS.

Solarus - An open source engine for games like Zelda: A Link to the Past. There are some nice Zelda fan games in this engine.

Both of those engines have received ports to the Switch and other hardware, Those ports might be a good starting port where calls are already changed to SDL for input, sound, whatever.

In addition I know there are some who already tried taking the SM64 decomplication project and porting it to the 3DS, but it is really on the edge of being able to run and perform well. The request I'd make is to work with Kaze, who makes SM64 rom hacks. He has made a bunch of engine optimizations of better models that look better but have fewer polygons and massive engine improvements. He has not released his code, but I wonder if he would be willing to share it with people working on the engine.

are you aware of the port we already have? i wouldn't say it's on the edge of running well, it pretty much runs perfectly, even on O3DS. There's versions with updated 3D models, anti aliasing, stereo 3D, 800px resolution, and i dunno what else

Usually when such a big title leaks the Temp will be the first to report about it (going off of historical reports here, Pokemon SV being the latest one I can recall seeing pop up here)

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)
