It's an error that happens as part of the download process from Nintendo's servers.
Yeah, especially when the connection dropped. Happended to me sometimes when I was downloading big size games. Wii U wifi isn't the best and I wish it has an either net connector port, heck even the VITA TV has one. I know there's an adapter, but I'm cheap so whatever.

This might just be hoping here. But could there be a feature implamented to where you could install more than one WUP, one installed after another? Like a cue list? If you have a lot to install, it would be very convenient to set, say four to install and walk away. Don't know if it could be done, but just daydreaming...:yayswitch:

Also out of curiosity. I have two hard drives plugged into my Wii U. One that's formatted for Wii U games, and the other is FAT32 with my Wii stuff (both using a split Y cable). If I had an "Install" folder on my FAT32 hard drive, could NUSspli read and install games off of it if it was under uStealth?

@Litil It's true that NUSspli won't find all games (basically disc only releases like Call of Duty: Black Ops II are missing) but on the other side you find zero games on WUP Installer. So there will never be a situation where you find a game on WUP Installer but not on NUSspli. Also NUSspli contains a WUP Installer, so you really don't need WUP Installer anymore.
In fact NUSspli is better at installing. One example are disc dumps: With WUP Installer you start WUDD, dump the disc, move the files to the install folder and finally use WUP Installer. With NUSspli you start WUDD, dump the disc and then use NUSspli. So no more need to move the files to the install folder. ;)

A channel is like a Wii U game: You need to install it (with either NUSspli (HBL version) or WUP Installer), then you have it on the Wii U home menu. So you will be able to start it without going into HBL first. Now before the question arises what's better (HBL or channel version) - that depends on personal preferences.

//EDIT: To the first point: I guess you're reading about USB Helper and stuff but to be fair: USB Helper & Co froze in time around 5 years ago. This means you're missing all releases of the last ~5 years there. NUSspli on the other side has all content on the NUS (NUS = Nintendo Update Server. In fact NUSspli has been used to download content before said content had been officially released).

Thanks a lot V10lator!! for that fantastic explanation. It's all clear.

I have the WiiU running with Tiramisu and Nusspli working as a charm! Downloaded Mario 8 without any problem.

Just a question, what happens with games that need a lot of time to download and install if WiiU shutdown when pass 1? Nusspli let the wiiu running or the download broke? :/ Some games is fine to download overninght and install for comodity.

Thanks!

Just an other question :unsure:

When you download now a game (ex. Mario Kart) and have and update, should I update too? Or new downlad is updated?

DLC are an extra options, but updates make me doubt.

Thanks :grog:

@Grenouille Try deleting the game, update and DLCs, then delete the corresponding tickets, too. See for example.

In case that won't help: What CFW are you using? Also make sure to install game and DLC to the same storage medium.
@V10lator

Hello, I deleted everything like you said, I learn a lot about the tickets and how to delete them but... At the end the game doesnt take the DLC. At the beggining I thought it was just with the Smash Bros but then I tried to download the DLC for Mario Kart 8 and doesnt work either, I tried with the DLC for Pure Chess then and also doesnt work for it :( Idk why I cant load DLC's to my games -.- I have not change anything else.

Hi today I bought a 2nd hand physical copy of call of duty black ops 2, the disc is inserted in my wii u, i downloaded the wii u disc dumper tool via the wii u homebrew appstore but i don't know what to do next at this screen, please help me thanks.

edit 1: i see there is multiple choices when it comes to dumping physical game discs like: dumpling, wudd and disc2app.
I found this Youtube Video but it's from 2021 but I'm not sure if I should do it as it's outdated, but it seems easy for noobs like me though as in the past I've used this to get CEMU online files.

I want to dump my $20 AUD 2nd hand physical copy of call of duty black ops 2 to be digital as in an app on the wii u home menu when installed through wup loader gx2.

There is no scratches on the disc, but when on the loading screen, campaign/zombies/multiplayer main menus it always stutters and is unresponsive to any button input like up or down because the disc is being read, might be my optical drive being filthy and old or faulty, but the game works and I've been playing for 6 hours now, it's just the 2 minor issues.

@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Choose "Dump partition as .app", then choose the only partition available.

//EDIT: After dumping start NUSspli, navigate to "Install content" -> "(x) to switch to SD" -> ".." -> "wudump" -> "WUP-P-AECD-WUP" -> "GM00050000101137000000000000000000"... ;)

Hey, a quick question to anyone. I just discovered my old SD card from way back and it has like hundreds of DS games on it. Thing is, I ripped them as Loadiine format. Are there any new and modern way to convert Loadiine to WUP? So I can use Nusspli to install them. All I can find is a tutorial from 2017.

I could just go down the injection route and do it 1 by 1, but if there is a quicker way to do a convertion for those games that would be awesome. Does Loadiine GX even work anymore? I don't think it work on Aroma, right?

I noticed that Nusspli download speeds are slow, like it's only downloading at 13Mbs when my wifi download speed is 50Mbs:
IMG_20221102_213745_2.jpg

Is there anything I can do? I'm renting and in the rent agreement contract we can't drill nails or cables into the walls, basically can't damage the walls and even the landlady herself said so. Would a wifi extender or mesh whatever it's called make a difference or is it a wii u limitation?

Ethernet cable isn't an option, the wifi router is in the living room and it's just like 1-2 meters from my room and between 2 walls. It should be downloading at 50Mbs right?

Might be that the wiiu is only using the 2.4GHz wifi instead of the 5GHz wifi. but I did a speed test on my laptop on the 2.4ghz wifi and the 5ghz wifi and they're the same speed.

If there's nothing I can do then I'll stick to USBhelper, but I'll keep Nusspli on my wiiu incase it gets updated and improved in the future.

It should only take 4 minutes to download 1.69GB at 50Mbs:

My guess is that the download speeds are being bottlenecked by hardware/the wiiu itself.
