*note* If Windows defender interupts the unzipping of these files then turn of windows defender real-time protection
and unzip again. The actual exploit payloads are thought to be viruses by windows defender.

1. Install XAMPP to a local PC on the same local network that the Wii U is on
(xampp installer included)
2. Browse to c:\xampp\htdocs\
3. Create a folder called Wiibrew
4. Copy everything INSIDE of folder "A" into the folder: c:\xampp\htdocs\Wiibrew
Folder should look like:
- c:\xampp\htdocs\Wiibrew\523\...
\540\...

\dumpiine\...
\Homebrewlauncher\...
\kernel-osdriver\...
\loadiine-gx2-sd\...

5. Copy everyting INSIDE of folder "B" to the root of your SD card overwriting files when prompted.
SD card should look like:
- SD:\wiiu\apps\...
\coverM\...
\discM\...
\games\... (put your loadiine ready games in here)
\saves\...
6. Put SD card back in WiiU
7. Turn on Apache in XAMPP
8. Test website on local PC by opening a browser (Chrome or another) and go to:
locahost/Wiibrew
9. If you cannot see the webpage on your local PC then you may have a port issue with XAMPP. Post
in gbatemp thread with issues. You must have the xampp page working before you can test on Wii U.
10. Learn your local PC's IP address and use that in the next step.
11. Open your Wii U and browse the webpage:
http://192.168.0.67(replace with your computer IP)/Wiibrew
For example, on my Wii U I type this into the address:
http://192.168.11.169/wiibrew
12. Launch the kexploit for your wii u version.
13. If successful it will dump you back to the home button.
14. Tap the browser button and go back to your page and then launch any of the homebrew listed below the kexploits.

*note* If you change the port number in xampp to make it work then you need to include that in the URL
example:
Changed port to "12345". The address I use in Wii U browser is:
http://192.168.11.169:12345/wiibrew

Which kexploit on which screen? It only does that for me if I try using the 5.5.1 (because I'm on 5.4)

But let me know because I have no way of testing 5.5.1. I might have put the wrong kexploit in the folder

i start xampp,choose apache,then on wiiu open browser and put there http://my ip/wiibrew-then i have too choose first kxploit 5.3.2-5.0.0-5.1.1,i choose 5.1.1,after that gamepad hangs.

Finally found the correct mp4 files for 5.5.1. Replace your 551 folder with this final one. It should work after that:

If it still freezes on the exploit then I'll try using the php stuff instead of the mp4. Thanks for all the input. We'll get to the bottom of this.

no, you just need to know the IP address of your PC and the port number that xampp is using. Were you able to open the page on your pc?

If that works for you then you don't need to self host. I just like self hosting because it works 100% of the time for me where as online sites have always been an issue. Different locations, different internet backbones.

Here's a version that uses the php code instead of mp4 files. It may work better for you.

are you able to view the webpage from another device? Like a tablet or laptop or phone?

What is the address that you are using on your local pc to view? Is it "localhost". That won't work on your wii u.
