Over the last decade, I've seen a lot of unfunny 'memes' in the EoF, specifically in the "video game box" and "post here funny pictures" threads, and I feel like it's time I've brought it up, since my reports aren't working. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind unfunny jokes, and not all of the things these people post are offensively unfunny, but a lot of the content has been unfunny in a way that only someone from an anti-funny echo-chamber, like reddit would find funny.
Here are a few examples:

Even if we ignore the fact that these posts lack any kind of basic human comedy and forum ethics, I would argue they are directly against site rules, as they make fun of the idea of humor:
Please show respect for humor at GBAtemp; new or old. Jokes that don't deal with Race, gender, origin, handicap, age, sexual orientation, personal politics and religion will NOT be tolerated and will most likely be removed by staff. The poster will then be warned, suspended or banned (see the Warnings section below for more information on warnings).
Again, I don't mind bad jokes, nor do I think unfunny posts should be banned outright. But these ‘jokes’ are just toxic.
