I've seen threads (like https://gbatemp.net/threads/recent-content-blogs-filter-option.460550/) that mention something similar, but it wasn't exactly what I wanted/didn't fix my problem, so I figured I'd make a new post. Currently, at least for me, unchecking Blogs in the recent content customization page only affects the Recent Content page, and not the Recent Content section on the FP, as you can see here:
I can filter out everything I don't want in the Threads section and it gets taken out of the Recent Content section on the FP, but since Blogs aren't in the Threads section I am unable to filter them out. And no, I don't want to just change All Content to Threads as that would seemingly remove the Ask! and User-Submitted News posts. I like reading news and occasionally helping people.
