I was too annoyed by ads in sites so i do some research blocking those ads. I feel you guys.

Im using android phone so idk if it works in pc.

Edit; you can also do it on pc

Here you go....

1st: go to Settings>>>Connection and Sharing

2nd: Click on Private DNS

3rd: put "dns.adguard.com" (remove ")

4th: Save

Now try browsing sites with annoying ads and boom theyre gone ✌️✌️

It works well most of the time, not as good as actual adblocker app/plugin, but still.

I removed all references to unsavory elements and cleaned up the post.
This is legit advice, DNS-based ad blocking is a thing, Adguard is a thing, it works on Windows as well, anywhere where you can customize your resolvers, although how far I would trust Adguard to not sell my shit to the highest bidder... I dunno.

Blokada on Android is one of the better options if you want to block mobile ads. It lets you set customer adlists so you have more control over just using Adguard's DNS, which is limited to whatever Adguard chooses. > https://blokada.org/
Use it on my own, since 4 years now, very, very reliable and adjustable :)

On an Android, I either use my VPN (Windscribe) or DNS66 app to block ads while on PC it's Brave with its adblocker + remove element addon. SponsorBlock + Dislike Return for YouTube are great, too.

The Remove Element addon is kind of amazing as it cleans up webpages to my liking so I don't see unnecessary junk that I don't want (hyperlinked images to the iOS/Play Store, unneeded info, items on discount, video ads, etc).

There are options to address this concern. I have a lot of useful plugins installed, among them the same AdBlock, which at least until recently worked very well. In general, it still works for me, but I often hear that in some areas advertising is not saved. Why don't you try YouTube Vanced? I know there are no unnecessary commercials, and the working principle is similar to the true YouTube Premium. I also have other useful extensions for YouTube, such as volume up, smart pause, and a playlist calculator which computes the length of a YouTube playlist.
