You sure can (DLC gets installed in the same place so both disc and download versions look in the same location). I first learned this years ago, as I had pre-ordered "Just Cause 2" retail and it came with some DLC. A while later the PSN version of the game came to PS+ so I downloaded it and sold the disc copy (former installed DLC still worked).

only ps5 updated to latest firmware can go on psn, jailbroken ones just don't use psn or they risk getting flagged or banned, altho spouting profanity in online play alredy does that -
