I assure you there will be emulators.

But not until the system gets hacked.

But, who knows, cards like the DSTWO may work on it. They work on the DSi, but the 3DS may have even more card checking, but if not, then there is your GBA emulation for it

There won't be a GBA slot, but they might have a sort of virtual console for 3DS. It remains to see.

With the 3DS specs, I'd expect to be able to...with an emulator I mean
