coverting dolphin save games to wiiU?

How do I get them to work? the save file on dolphin I see gci files and also .deleted files. What's that mean? on the wiiU the save files are called "RAW" so i'm assuming it's not as easy as just drag and dropping dolphin save files to the wiiU's save folder for Gamecube games?

I think gci is the individual save, put it in a memory card image or hex it in.

I thought there was an option in dolphin. I remember making a raw image with it, when I grabbed my cube saves from the wii.

I'm a little confused, I think you're thinking I'm wanting to convert raw to gci format. I want it the other way around. I opened up slot A but none of my saves are showing up?

no, I knew what you meant. you have to create a raw memory card, then import the saves (the gci files).
