YES! It works! So I plan to use my Pokémon GBA ROMs for this. Will the saves work correctly? Like save the data and then I could use PkHex if I wanted to?

I noticed during testing, that Twilight Menu/nds-bootstrap can't load encrypted games (there were 20 games released encrypted), is there any plans in the works to support encrypted roms?

Also, with the following games you currently need to hold the L button to boot :

I'll have a look/think about it tomorrow as it's almost 5am my time and I need sleep.
At worst case, I could create .ips patches for those 20 games, which would be 2048 bytes each.

The button combo doesn't work in homebrew. Only retail/commercial games.

Does DeSmuME support encrypted ROMs? If so, that might be a decent place to start.

EDIT: Went and had a look at DeSmuME's source, looks like they use the decryption code from ndstool, so you could check that also.
