Today I received a new Dualshock 4 for playing videogames on Win10. All correct, paired and all that stuff. I unpaired it from the Bluetooth settings of my pc and now my pc don't detects the gamepad. I reset the gamepad and still does not work. Bricked and new gamepad? :)

Pls help, I'm stressed with this thing :(

It's not bricked. You have to re-pair it to the PC.

+1 for this, I use my PS4 controller on my computer, which has Win 10, and if it is not detecting it then you need to unpair it, and then re-pair it. Also make sure you grab DS4 and install the drivers needed to emulate the 360 controller for most games.

You can brick a controller :D?
nowadays yes you can, however i do believe they got some safety measures.. this of course if you are messing with the firmware of the controllers.
switch controllers being an example, they are firmware upgradeable, so if you decide to shut down the switch in the middle, either they brick or if they have some safety measures they either roll back to the original firmware or go into "download firmware mode"

i do believe they really got safety measures and are pratically impossible to brick...
but theese devices got firmware and software in them.. and some of them got the option to upgrade such software (firmware) so yeah, a failed firmware upgrade can result a brick if the manufacter didn't implement measures

you can't brick a controller by a failed pairing btw or something like that..

I know I'm replying real late here but I do think I bricked my switch controller.
Please if anybody got useful input on the topic I'd really appreciate it.

So I use the Pro controller as my main PC controller nowadays. everything was fine til 2 days ago when I tried to use my controller usually just pressing a button would start the controller connection process but instead of that now pressing a b y or x button just causes just one of the green Leds to light up. Not only that but now even if I try a wired connection it wouldn't work windows wouldn't even detect that there's anything connected to it.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.

He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.

What matters now is that he's doing alright.
