How to access the famous Deep Web. (And be anonymous)

There has been A LOT of talk about the Deep Web but most people don't even know what it's about.
Today we will discuss how to get onto the Deep Web and some cool sites you can check out.

Step one: Install Tor
Choose the OS you use
Tor (WINDOWS)
Tor (LINUX)
Tor (MAC)

Install it

Step two: Run the Tor Browser

Step three: You're done!!!

Step four: PROFIT

Additional info: This is only to access the deep web to be truly anonymous go and get the Linux Distro Tails

Now that you're on Tor you can access the famous Deep Web

(REMOVED LINKS DUE TO CONTROVERSY)

I see a lot of people thinking my guide is bad. I may add that this is to ONLY access the deep web. You should have a VPN and/or a proxy to make sure you're TRULY anonymous. This is just a guide to accessing the deep web and not how to be anonymous. I hope i am not misunderstood on this subject and I have given out helpful info.

So much confusion between deep web and dark web in this thread. A webpage being on the deep web, as opposed to the surface web, just means a webpage that isn't indexed by search engines. It's hard to get an exact measurement on how big the deep web is compared to the surface web, but there's no way the deep web is smaller.

how isn't smaller?
the ammount of people that knows about or uses tor is really small compared to everyone that uses internet...
i can't see how the "internet accessed by a few amount of people" is way bigger than the internet that everyone accesses and uses...

The deep web is used by pretty much everyone, and isn't limited to the parts of the deep web that requires tools like Tor to access, which is probably less than 1%. You're confusing deep web and dark web.

If you use TOR you are truly anonymous if you follow some rules. Its impossible to track if you follow some rules like turn off your javascript and dont expose information about yourself. You can only access .onion sites but not .i2p or freenet sites. You can be anonymous with freenet or i2p too. I2P can allow the anonymous
use of a torrent client. TOR cant offer something like that.
Summary: Tor is not the only way to acess those sites, on all ways your are anonymous if you follow some rules.

Bullshit. If Tor is used properly, a VPN or some other proxy isn't needed at all.

@OP Or how about no one here really has any reason to get on onion sites and just not use tor and risk things that shouldn't really be mentioned but someone had to make a thread anyway because they thought that was cool?
There are a lot of people thinking this is cool. Even got someone to PM me about some links (No illegal crap k). I would say a lot of people care about there security and anonymity online. There is also many good reasons to use tor such as:
1. Security

2. Not getting in trouble

3. Writing articles without the Governments getting on your bee hive

4. And if you're pro-military the USA use's tor to send messages secretly.

So this is not right
Uncle Sam has tabs on TOR users, I'll never touch that shit
They can't keep tabs on people they can't see
when i see one of theese fliers saying that the normal web has 20% (or less) content than the normal web or that the deep web is bigger, my bullshit detector triggers...
This a true fact.

From 2014:

"The NSA surveillance program called X-Keyscore, first revealed last summer in documents leaked by Edward Snowden, has been found to contain selection rules that potentially add to an NSA watch list anybody who has not only used, but visited online privacy-protection tools such as the Tor Network for anonymous Web browsing and the Linux-based Tails operating system. Snowden's X-Keyscore files indicated that it allowed NSA employees to obtain a person's phone number or email address, view the content of email, and observe full Internet activity including browsing history without a warrant."

From 2015:

the operators of the Tor network have accused Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) of taking up to $1 million to help the FBI bust illegal sites.

From 2016:

The FBI has used NITs before, but this is the first time that it has been reported that the NIT was able to get around the protections of Tor. When visitors accessed the website, although their traffic might have been encrypted, a Flash application was secretly installed on the user's computer that quietly sent important data about the user straight to the FBI so that it did not pass through the Tor network at all, according to Motherboard Vice.

that X-keyscore thing is pretty pointless since they're already spying on everyone, regardless of if they use tor or not (PRISM)

While I am curious about visiting the Deep Web I'll just rather stay far from it and instead watch Mutahar's Deep Web videos.

Then don't go. I have provided the means too but thats your choice. You haven't seen the true potential tor has on our freedom.

The true potential of tor is government scrutiny and child porn
Child Porn is becoming a less reachable thing on tor. The villain of the deep web is Child Porn and most deep world surfers hate Child Porn. Also most Child Porn sites are FBI Honey pots. I will now qoute someone who inspired me to do more.
go learn your stuff, son. Too early to play bigshot.
